Roman Stepanov's Spetnaz Photos

Part 1

If you're like me, you love quality images of your favorite subjects. We, as enthusiasts, are always scouting for ANY potential media relating to our beloved hobbies. I constanly find myself searching for videos, dvd's, books, magazine, etc... with images and info on Russian special forces. Well, my freinds, I guess you can say I hit the motherload!

My good buddie, Code 4, who I met through a camo and gear forum was not only kind enough to supply me with his own photos (see Code 4 action pics) but also led me to another forum where I "met" Mr. Roman Stepanov.

Roman gave me these great pics to post and like Code's, they are the perfect combination of my favorite russian camo patterns, weapons, and gear. Only these are of actual spetsnaz members conducting some drills for russian tv cameras.

This is only one of quite a few pages I will post -

Thanks to both Roman and Code 4!!! Enjoy!

Photo above displays the Gorod (or City) camo rain jacket and m-21 or m-22 vest (forest camo). The facemask is most often a must in extreme police duty. Protecting identity and confusing shapes... the mask and camo with gear look like Splav manufacture. Nice Krinkov too! Perfect for house to house work!

More in-action shots! Nice!!! These boys play it up heavy for the cameraman. Nice variety of camo: Tiger (really a lizard pattern), Shadow, Gorod, Forest, and it is especially nice to see that VSR Schofield pattern hasn't left the scene entirely!
Moving in on the suspect! This type of stuff makes for great airsoft scenarios. Patches indicate units... I also like the large back patches on the vests. Gotta attach mine soon!!! Yes, I'll post pics... now back to the action!

It is not uncommon to see a huge array of camo patterns on Russian soldiers. In fact, it is quite commonplace. Russian manufacturers make more variations than I can keep track of! Although you can't see it in this picture, this man is wearing yet another pattern - his pants are tiger!

The blues and grays suggest the police look. The V-V-1 vest might be a bit warm for summer duty but in the cold weather it is very well suited. A strong, robust piece of equiptment.

I'd hate to be this guy!

Cameraman gets in close for some in-your-face police action! I'd love to have a copy of this!!! Anyone know if this tape is available? e-mail me!

Note; The previous submission was originally seen on my former team site. Since the Sturmjagers disbanded and the site went down, this page had no home. I am pleased to display it once again. There are yet more photos to this series. Hope you enjoyed them.
