Steven Zaloga has had an incredible carrer as an author, model builder, historian, and artist and this book shines just as brightly as his other works. Here, he teams up with James Loop for another great to the osprey elite line-up.

This book is an invaluable resource for those interested in the 80's era of Soviet Bloc military and covers a bit of the invasion of Afghanistan. It also details some of the vehicles and weapons used by many of the elite forces of the time.
